Question and Answer

The person that I will be interviewing for this assignment is one of my good friends, Chantel Turk, who I think is one of the biggest gossipers I know. She also was the first to tell me about many celebrity mishaps.

Q: Why do you think celebrities act the way do? (Out of control, crazy, ignorant, etc.)

A: I think they act this why because they want attention from their fans. Also, they know that they will be able to get away with it because they are famous and people will just chalk it up to publicity.

Q: How did you feel about what Kayne West did to Taylor Swift?

A: It was ignorant! There was no need for him to bring his drunk ass on stage and ruin a very special moment for her. It’s just a shame because I had a feeling that he was going to do something, I just never thought he would have taken it that far.

Q: And what about for Taylor Swifts point of view?

A: Even though he did call and apologize about the situation and for his actions, that was national television. She will never  get that moment of her life back and everyone will be talking about that for years. It’s all over the internet and especially YouTube. There quite a few videos of him being as ass. That was her very first award from MTV and it was supposed to be a special moment. I’m just sorry it got ruined.

Q: What did you take Lindsey Lohan’s relationship to Samantha Ronson?

A: I do feel that they were friends at first. But then when news started going around that she was her girlfriend and people actually were becoming interested she just kept doing what she was doing to get more attention from her fans. She just wanted to be back in the news, and this was her ticket in the door.

Q: What do you think about Britney Spears? And do you think she will be as popular as she was before?

A: Britney is doing her thing. She came back from the situation is she was in and made a better life for herself and her children. I feel that now she’s just as popular as she was before. People enjoy her music and they are playing her records and getting positive feed back so…nuff’ said.

Q: How did you feel about the Chris Brown situation?

A: I’m really disappointed in Chris. His career is over and for what? Nothing? He made a really stupid mistake beating up Rihanna and he does need to face the music and take responsibility for his actions. He should have known better.

Q: If you had one thing to say to celebrities what would it be?

A: Be yourself. That’s why we like you. You’re already famous so there’s no need to draw even more attention to yourself, you already have the spotlight.
